Master of Science in Packaging (Online)
The Master of Science in Packaging is a 30-credit, online program, designed to give a broad education in packaging and to strengthen skills in analyzing social, scientific, environmental, and business problems associated with packaging. The program includes classes in medical packaging, advanced packaging dynamics, permeability and shelf life, polymeric packaging materials, stability and recyclability of packaging materials, and value relationships in packaging. This Plan B (non-thesis) program requires completion of 30 credits and can be completed in about three years by averaging one course per semester including summer semesters. The time commitment for an online course averages 10 to 15 hours per week.
The program is designed to meet the needs of packaging professionals involved in all aspects of the industry as well as those with a general technology background.
