MSU's Diagnostic Center for Population and Animal Health offers a guide on ticks and tick-borne diseases for clnicians and pet owners that includes quick tick facts, resources for additional information, and resources specifically for our Michigan clients.  It can be found at animalhealth.msu.edu and clinicians can request copies for their clinic by using the contact information below.

DCPAH can also perform the following tests: Anaplasma phagocytophilum IFA, Ehrlichia canis IFA, Equine Tick Core Panel, Lyme IFA, Tick-Borne Disease Antibody Screen, Tick Identification, and Tick PCR
