Creative Art Techniques that Inspire Healing: Adolescents to Young Adults (April 2017)

Description:

Art has been used to help with healing for many years. In this experiential workshop you will learn specific play and creative art techniques that you can begin utilizing in your practice immediately. This will include both individual, group, and family techniques. This experiential workshop will teach you specific techniques that utilize various creative art techniques. Each of the techniques covers a wide range of uses so that you may adapt it for many different areas of practice. Throughout the workshop, there will be demonstrations on how to process each activity. The history and advantages of incorporating creative art techniques into your counseling practice will also be discussed.
