Advanced Group Therapy Workshop (October 2017)

Description:

In this workshop, you will explore the value of groups, advantages and disadvantages of group work, the function of a group facilitator and the different types of groups. You will learn the components of how to start up a group, beginning with the curriculum planning, group selection, full value contract development, and first group session activities. You will discuss the stages of groups and how to manage difficult group members. You will explore the value of utilizing experiential techniques and activities in groups, pairing practice of these activities through the training.
