Master of Science in Nursing with Nurse Anesthesia Concentration

Description:

This full-time, 28 month program is designed to prepare Advanced Practice Registered Nurses with the knowledge, judgment, and competence to deliver safe and effective anesthesia care and assume leadership roles in the practice setting. The Nurse Anesthesia program is accredited through the Council on Accreditation on Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA).

This Nurse Anesthesia (NA) program at Michigan State University is one of only five programs in Michigan that prepares Advanced Practice Nurses to deliver anesthesia care. Graduates are eligible to sit for certification examination as Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA).

New cohorts are admitted each year in the spring semester

Classes are held on campus in East Lansing, with clinicals in affiliated healthcare locations across the state.
