Office for Survey Research
MSU's Institute for Public Policy and Social Research (IPPSR) conducts social scientific, policy, and political surveys through The Office of Survey Research (OSR). The OSR serves public, private, and non-profit organizations and researchers who seek to use surveys to learn about attitudes, needs, experiences, and behavior of individuals and institutions. The OSR administers in excess of 40,000 telephone, Web, and mail questionnaires each year. Our computer-assisted telephone interviewing facility can accommodate more than 2,000 interviewing hours per week. OSR's projects span needs assessments, epidemiological studies, opinion surveys, client feedback surveys, social or economic impact studies, and political polls. We are expanding our resources in the area of web survey services and focus groups.
