  • Principles of Manual Medicine Video

    Description:

    MSU’s College of Osteopathic Medicine has developed a multi-volume video series that provides a comprehensive presentation of the basic principles and concepts of manual medicine. Each volume contains over two hours of material intended to equip the medical practitioner with skills to diagnose, treat, and restore maximal pain-free movement of the musculoskeletal system using muscle energy and high velocity thrust techniques. Topics include: Concepts & Principles; Cervical Spine; Lumbar Spine; Thoracic Spine; Rib Cage; Pelvis; and Extremities.

  • Radiology's Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

    Description:

    MSU's Department of Radiology recently installed one of the nation's most powerful full-body MRI machines. This 17-ton magnet creates a magnetic field of 3 tesla and provides superior image quality. The MRI diagnostic technique greatly enhances MSU's research and clinical capabilities.

    Description:

    MSU's Statewide Campus System (SCS) in the College of Osteopathic Medicine provides educational conferences for member hospitals belonging to SCS, featuring nationally known speakers in a variety of medical specialties. Through the SCS educational conferences, interns and residents in training gain exposure to new research, participate in hands-on learning labs, and meet many leaders in the medical field. CME credit is not offered for these educational workshops.
