    The Advanced Master Certificate in Integrated Supply Chain Management provides the knowledge of leading global research faculty, case studies, real-world strategies and examples, as well as networking opportunities to help you master all facets of integrated supply chain management. The essential tools and techniques you’ll gain will take your supply chain management skills and knowledge to a higher level. They’ll also lay the foundation as you start your intensive exploration with Supply Chain Management I & II, then progress through  each eight-week focus course building on your knowledge and proficiency as you complete the program.  There are five courses in this program.

  • Introduction to Product Counterfeiting Online Course

    Description:

    This 3-credit undergraduate course is an introductory examination of product counterfeiting, a global crime that affects people of every socio-economic class, race, gender and culture. The problem is explored through a review of popular literature (e.g., newspaper and magazine articles, blogs, social media), empirical studies, case histories, and criminological theory. Attention is given to understanding the following themes and concepts: the social and economic impacts of product counterfeiting, the transnational nature of counterfeiting organizations, offender motivation, consumer behavior, and the application of crime prevention techniques and theory. The materials presented in this course provide a global understanding of product counterfeiting including the role of brand owners, law enforcement, governments, legitimate businesses, criminal enterprises, and individual consumers.

  • Master Certificate in Global Supply Chain Management (Online)

    Taught by MSU’s expert faculty, this online certificate program consists of three required courses: Supply Chain Management I, Supply Chain Management II and Global Supply Chain Management (earning 10.5 total Continuing Education Units or CEUs). Taken in succession, each course builds upon the last in a step-by-step progression. This professional development series gives you the skills and knowledge to:

    • Successfully integrate procurement, operations and logistics management functions across the global supply chain
    • Implement the best supply chain design for your company to sustain its operations in the long term
    • Identify the dynamics of purchasing, procurement and sourcing activities and their impact on the supply chain as a whole
    • Become expert in performance measurement, benchmarking and assessment analysis
    • Develop inter-organizational relationships throughout the global supply chain

    Description:

    Michigan State’s Master Certificate in Supply Chain Management and Procurement helps you master the supply function of supply chain management. Critical insight is gained by using real-world case studies, time-tested strategies and the knowledge of leading campus-based master’s level faculty to teach you how to manage the flow of products from sourcing and acquisition through delivery to the customer. Using an analytical hierarchy process, you’ll discover ways to effectively evaluate and select suppliers. You’ll also discover how and when to build trust between participants across the supply chain. Three courses are required for this program:

  • Mid-Michigan Value Chain Certificate Program (September - November 2017)

    Description:

    The program’s structure is based upon a portion of the graduate level Supply Chain Management concentration in The Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University. The Broad College’s Supply Chain Management Program is consistently ranked as one of the best in the country. Program content will be delivered through lectures, readings, class discussion, and interactive simulations conducted by full-time Broad College faculty. Value chain management case studies and applications will be liberally used throughout the sessions.

  • West Michigan Supply Chain Management Certificate Series (January - December 2018)

    Description:

    This program is based on the graduate level supply chain management concentration in the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University. The seminar will be offered in two fifteen-week modules.  Module One delves into marketing and supply chain management concepts and Module Two concentrates on supply chain management processes. Program content will be delivered through lecture, readings, class discussion and interactive simulations conducted by full-time Broad College faculty. Supply chain management case studies and applications will be liberally used throughout both modules.  A project will tie both modules together.  It will be scoped/developed during the first module; data will be refined and analyzed in between modules; and results will be presented and reviewed at the conclusion of the second module.

    This program is offered in two parts, but participants must begin with Module One in January.  The price can be paid by module or for the full program.
