    Description:

    The Center for Advancing Microbial Risk Assessment (CAMRA) provides the tools needed to combat bioterrorism and ward off global outbreaks of infectious diseases. Along with a consortium of scientists from six other universities, MSU's Joan Rose and other MSU scientists will use the center to help shape policy and create a global strategy for dealing with these microbial risks.

    These events utilize ESPP's unique network of MSU expertise spanning MSU's colleges to address important and timely environmental issues that cross disciplinary boundaries. The ESPP Research Colloquia Series is a forum for MSU students, researchers and visitors to engage in research discussions where an interdisciplinary perspective is critical.

    MSU's Office of Executive Development Programs in the Eli Broad College of Business offers two online courses, Maintenance Management in the Water/Wastewater Field and Supervisory Management in the Water/Wastewater Field, that will show participants how to plan, organize, and direct the maintenance of the water/wastewater department. They are online, self-study courses in which participants complete lessons at their own pace.

  • Quantitative Microbial Risk Assessment Interdisciplinary Instructional Institute (August 2017)

    Description:

    The Quantitative Microbial Risk Assessment Interdisciplinary Instructional Institute (QMRA III) is a 10-day workshop for participants to assimilate scientific data and implement computer programs towards building a risk assessment for assuring safety and health goals. Participants will gain hands-on experience with risk assessment software and work on real-world case studies.
