    Description:

    On Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 4:30-6:00 p.m., there will be a panel discussion and reception as part of the exhibit Through a Black Lens: Detroit 1967 in the LookOut! Art Gallery. Panelists:

    • Dr. Eugene Cain, photographer and retired school administrator
    • Dr. Melvin Peters, retired Assoc. Prof., African American Studies, Eastern Michigan University
    • Rina Risper, publisher of The New Citizens Press

    From March 24 through April 14, 2017, visit the RCAH LookOut! Art Gallery for Through a Black Lens: Detroit 1967, an exhibition of African-American photojournalism and Detroit’s 1967 urban upheaval in photographs, videos, and other eyewitness accounts.
