Michigan Traditional Arts Program

The Michigan Traditional Arts Program (MTAP) develops and implements programs that advance cross-cultural understanding in a diverse society through the identification, documentation, preservation, and presentation of the traditional arts and cultural heritage of the state of Michigan. In addition to heading up programs like FOLKPATTERNS, the Great Lakes Folk Fest, and the Michigan Stained Glass Census, MTAP also offers several online exhibits, and research and technical assistance.
