Art and Art History Visiting Scholar and Artist Lecture Series

The Department of Art, Art History, Design offers a robust slate of lectures by internationally recognized leaders in the field of art and design each year. This Visiting Artist & Scholar Lecture Series invites approximately 15-20 artists, scholars, and critics to campus. During their visit, invited guests present their scholarly and creative research in a public lecture. In total, the Visiting Artist and Scholar Lecture Series explores how visual representation in all its complex forms exists as a mode of inquiry for the artist, writer, scientist, community, etc.
