Teaching About East Asia Workshop (May, June 2018)

Description:

This free 30-hour course provides an overview of the pre-modern history and culture of China, Japan, and Korea with a special emphasis on pedagogy, best practices, Common Core connections, and teaching resources. This seminar is designed to assist middle and high school teachers.

Dates:

  • Orientation: May 21, 2018: 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
  • Workshop: June 25 - 29, 2018: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
  • Continental breakfast and light lunch provided.

 

Location:

Room 303 International Center, East Lansing, MI.

Audience:

Middle and high school teachers of world history, world cultures, and world geography.
