Beyond Breathing: Tools for Teaching Relaxation in Trauma Work (Online, On-demand Course)

Description:

One of the most common components across a variety of trauma treatment models is
the inclusion of relaxation skills. When people think of teaching relaxation techniques, they often think of deep breathing exercises. While those are incredibly important, there are many ways relaxation can be incorporated. This recorded webinar will identify the importance of relaxation for those who have experienced trauma and how to teach it to individuals across the lifespan. A variety of practical application exercises will be demonstrated so you can begin using the interventions immediately in your work.
