Penny for Your Thoughts: Dispelling the Myths of Poverty and Mental Health (May 2019)


This workshop will explore the intersection of poverty and mental health by analyzing the historical and current approaches to these complex social problems. The goal of this workshop is to understand the context in which people who are poor and/or have mental illness exist, debunk common myths, and share social work best practices for this population.
