MSU's College of Education has issued many Education Research Reports to legislators, educators, and others across the state. The annual series of reports describes research that spans the four College departments and is of particular interest to K-12 educators and policy makers. The research reports provide a citation to the specific article and/or its location on the World Wide Web for those wishing more information. The reports are mailed monthly during the academic year to about 900 educators, legislators, deans, and friends of the College.
MSU's Center for Language Education And Research (CLEAR) offers a bibliography of resources for the teaching of foreign language writing on their website. The target audience for this bibliography is foreign language teachers who are interested in expanding pedagogical techniques for teaching foreign language writing and researchers wanting to find empirical research on specific topics.
The reports, guides, proceedings, and periodicals produced by MSU's Office of University Outreach and Engagement:
help foster a national discussion about what it means for an institution to meet its responsibilities both to the public and to scholarship through community engagement;
address questions regarding the responsibility of public universities to the constituencies and society they serve;
help implement the University’s commitment to serving the public with the knowledge resources of a major research university.
