MSU's Department of Radiology offers bone densitometry services. Bone densitometry is used to diagnose the density of bone for increased risk of fracture. A very minimal amount of X-ray is used to scan the hip and lower back. A bone density screening is suggested every 2 years.

MSU's Department of Pediatrics and Human Development offers a number of research and clinical services through its Center for Bleeding and Clotting Disorders. The Center specializes in comprehensive care, using the most current information and latest technology to serve newborns, children, adolescents, and adults. Some of the disorders they treat include:
- Hemophilia A and B,
- von Willebrand Disease,
- Rare bleeding and platelet disorders,
- Venous and arterial thrombosis,
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT),
- Pulmonary embolism, and
The greater Lansing area and southeast Michigan
CIM is a service organization that provides basic health screenings and preventive health education to the medically underserved. Members partake in tutoring and mentoring programs for high school students. CIM services all ages, ethnic groups, and genders throughout the Lansing and southeast Michigan communities.

The Michigan State University Institute for Health Policy is a unit within the College of Human Medicine (MSU CHM), Division of Public Health. The Institute serves a unique role facilitating and supporting collaborative relationships among CHM faculty and researchers throughout campus. These collaborative activities inform policymakers, state agencies and others with a goal of improving health care delivery in Michigan.
The mission of the Institute for Health Policy is to improve the health status of Michigan residents through health services research, policy analysis, education and outreach and support of quality improvement activities.

MSU's HealthTeam provides multiple primary and specialty health care services to the general public at clinics throughout the Lansing area. The HealthTeam is comprised of approximately 200 physicians and nurse practitioners from 14 clinical departments as well as many allied health professionals affiliated with MSU's Colleges of Human Medicine, Nursing, and Osteopathic Medicine. The largest clinic, which is located on the MSU campus, is the Clinical Center, which also provides pharmacy, radiology, and laboratory services.

MSU's Department of Radiology recently installed one of the nation's most powerful full-body MRI machines. This 17-ton magnet creates a magnetic field of 3 tesla and provides superior image quality. The MRI diagnostic technique greatly enhances MSU's research and clinical capabilities.
