Body Mapping for Musicians' Health

Description:
Body Mapping sessions are one-on-one and are designed to enhance performance and avoid injury by helping students refine and correct their body maps in order to move in a more efficient and coordinated way. Body Mapping is similar to the Alexander and Feldenkrais techniques, but relies more on verbal and visual strategies. Dr. Judy Palac teaches the sessions and is a licensed Andover Educator (teacher of Body Mapping). Tuition is $53 per one-on-one session.

Description:
MSU's College of Osteopathic Medicine offers continuing medical education courses, frequently held at the East Lansing Marriott hotel. The manual medicine series, open to licensed D.O.s, M.D.s, P.T.s, and D.D.S.s, is approved for AOA and AMA Category I credit. Courses include such topics as: Principles of Manual Medicine; Craniosacral Technique; Direct Action Thrust Manipulative Technique; Exercise; Functional Technique; Muscle Energy; Extremities, and Myofascial Release.

Rehabilitation, Education, and Change (REACH) Online Courses
Description:
MSU's Rehabilitation, Education, and Change (REACH) is the continuing education unit of the Rehabilitation Counseling Program, Office of Rehabilitation and Disability Studies. REACH creates useful and progressive learning advantages for rehabilitation professionals including workshops and conferences on topics such as Accommodations, Disability Management, and Independent Living.
