W.K. Kellogg Biological Station, 3700 East Gull Lake Drive, Hickory Corners, MI 49060 Stack Building - Room 145
This 2-day class will improve your skills in recognizing the differences between grasses, sedges, and rushes and to identify several native grass species. The objective is to provide a framework of which traits to look for in distinguishing graminoids, but also become familiar with some common species. This approach is intended to bring attention to the diversity of species around us all the time, and provide the concrete skills to continue the study of graminoids independently.
