    The Horse Owner Seminar Series and the Student Chapter of the American Association of Equine Practitioners (SCAAEP) presents a fun educational day for horse owners! Please join us for morning lectures and an afternoon of hands on labs all about your horse’s health!  Lecture topics include: Parasites Control and Resistance; Potomac Horse Fever Detection and Treatment; and Sports Medicine--Common Injuries of the Equine Athlete.

    Description:

    This online course covers a variety of topics including feedstuffs, forage, grains, and supplements; nutritional diseases and their prevention and management; and assessment of body condition scores, reading feed tags, and evaluating feeding programs. Members of United States Dressage Federation can earn 2 credits through this course.
