The purpose of Michigan’s Managed Pollinator Protection Plan (MP3) is to improve and protect the health of pollinators in Michigan, while simultaneously protecting our crops, property, and human health. The MP3 is non-regulatory; it will provide guidance. It is also designed to be flexible, and will improve as we receive input from stakeholders, and new strategies become available.
This Website provides information and recommendations for habitat management that include maintaining or planting species that provide floral resources in or near crop fields, orchards and vineyards. Resources available include: Plant fact sheets; images; regional plant lists; publications; and teaching tools.
